Connect the search form to your post type

In order to search for posts/locations, you need to tell your search form in which (custom) post type (CPT) to look at. To do that, you need to connect your search form to your CPT by following these steps:

  1. Edit your search form
  2. Click on the menu “General settings”
  3. Select your CPT in the field “Post type”
  4. In the field “Status”, select the status of the posts/locations to look for.
  5. Save your search form
