To display a search form on the map that allows to find locations within a specific distance of an address, do the following:
- Edit a map
- Open the widget “Progress Map Settings”.
- Click on the menu “Search form settings”.
- Select the option “Yes” in the field “Search form option”.
- Choose whether to automatically open the search form once the map is fully loaded or not by selecting an option in the field “Search form display status”.
- In the field “Min distances of search”, specify the minimum distance of search a user can select to search for locations nearby their address.
- In the field “Max distances of search”, specify the maximum distance of search a user can select to search for locations nearby their address.
- In the field “Distance unit”, select the unit to use to calculate the distance.
- To draw a circle around the user address, within the distance of search they’ve selected, select the option “Yes” in the field “Circle option”.
- To allow users to resize the circle in order to get more or less results, select the option “Yes” in the field “Resize the circle”.
