Make a polygon clickable

Making a polygon clickable allows it to trigger a request when a user clicks and/or hovers over it. The request depends on the user’s action: a click will open a link, while a hover will display an infobox. To enable this feature, follow these steps:

    1. Edit your map and open the “Progress Map Settings” widget.
    2. Go to the “Polygons settings” menu.
    3. Select the polygon you want to edit by clicking on its corresponding group field.
    4. Open the “Polygon options” widget.
    5. Set the “Clickable” field to “Yes”.
    6. To link the polygon to a URL, paste the link in the “Polygon redirect URL” field and choose how to open it in the “URL target” field.
    7. Add a description for the polygon in the “Polygon description” field, which will appear in an infobox when a user hovers over the polygon.
    8. Set the maximum width (in pixels) of the infobox that will display the polygon description in the “Infowindow Maximum width” field.
