Marker menu can be used to add links to access/see more info about your map locations. The following is a list of all available links you can add to the marker menu.
- “Single Post” Link
- “Directions” Link
- “Media Modal” Link
- “Nearby Points of Interest” Link
- “Nearby Places” Link
1 – “Single Post” Link
The link “Single post” allow you to open the single post page. To add this link to the marker menu, do the following:
- Edit your map
- Click on the menu “Marker menu settings”.
- Scroll to the section “Menu items” and open the group field “”Single post” link”.
- Select the option “Show” in the field “Visibility”.
- In the field “Link text”, change the text that will be displayed in the link (if needed).
- Choose how to open the single post link by selecting an option in the field “Link type”.
2 – “Directions” Link
The link “Directions” allow you to display the path/route between the user location and the marker location, as well as the distance and travel time. The directions will be displayed on Google Maps! To add this link to the marker menu, do the following:
- Edit your map
- Click on the menu “Marker menu settings”.
- Scroll to the section “Menu items” and open the group field “”Directions” link”.
- Select the option “Show” in the field “Visibility”.
- In the field “Link text”, change the text that will be displayed in the link (if needed).
- Specify the method of travel by selecting an option in the field “Travel mode”.
3 – “Media Modal” Link
The link “Media Modal” allow you to open the post media inside a modal. To add this link to the marker menu, do the following:
- Edit your map
- Click on the menu “Marker menu settings”.
- Scroll to the section “Menu items” and open the group field “”Media Modal” link”.
- Select the option “Show” in the field “Visibility”.
- In the field “Link text”, change the text that will be displayed in the link (if needed).
4 – “Nearby Points of Interest” Link
The link “Nearby Points of Interest” allow you to find nearby points of interest around a post on the map. To use this link, you must enable the feature “Nearby Points of Interest”. To add this link to the marker menu, do the following:
- Edit your map
- Click on the menu “Marker menu settings”.
- Scroll to the section “Menu items” and open the group field “”Nearby Points of Interest” link”.
- Select the option “Show” in the field “Visibility”.
- In the field “Link text”, change the text that will be displayed in the link (if needed).
5 – “Nearby Places” Link
The link “Nearby Map” allow you to open the nearby map inside a modal. To use this link, you must use the add-on “Nearby Places”. To add this link to the marker menu, do the following:
- Edit your map
- Click on the menu “Marker menu settings”.
- Scroll to the section “Menu items” and open the group field “”Nearby Places” link”.
- Select the option “Show” in the field “Visibility”.
- In the field “Link text”, change the text that will be displayed in the link (if needed).
