Hash navigation

Hash navigation allows you to link directly to a specific carousel item, so the page loads with that particular slide displayed. For example, if you load the map page with a URL ending in #item15, the carousel will start with the post/item that has ID 15 as the initial slide.

To enable hash navigation for your carousel, follow these steps:

  1. Edit your map.
  2. Open the “Progress Map Settings” widget.
  3. Navigate to the “Carousel Settings” menu.
  4. Set the “Hash Navigation” field to “Yes”.

For this feature to work, your URL must end with the hash #item followed by the ID of the post you want to target. For example: www.yoursite.com/your_map_page/#item15
