Use a custom style from “Snazzy Maps”

Snazzy Maps is a repository of different styles for Google Maps aimed towards web designers and developers.

To use a custom style from Snazzy Maps, do the following;

  1. Explore the Snazzy Maps styles and open the style that you like.
  2. Copy the JavaScript style code. Check the image below!
  3. Edit your map.
  4. Open the widget “Progress Map Settings”.
  5. Click on the menu “Map settings”.
  6. Select the option “Custom style” in the field “Initial style”.
  7. Click on the menu “Map style settings”.
  8. Select the option ““ in the field “Style option”.
  9. Enter the name of your personal style in the field “Custom style name”. This name will be displayed in the Map type control.
  10. Paste the JavaScript style code in the field “Javascript style array”.
